研究采用定量分析方法调查非英语专业大学生自我效能感与英语自主学习能力的关系。研究被试为239名大二和大三非英语专业学生。英语学业成就较高的学生具有较强的自我效能感和英语自主学习能力。自我效能感与英语自主学习能力及其四个维度("学习目标设立"、"学习策略使用"、"学习过程的监控和评估"、"学习动机")皆呈显著正相关且呈一定的线性关系,与"学习目标设立"、"学习策略使用"和"学习过程的监控和评估"呈较强的线性关系。大学生的自我效能感在一定程度上影响英语自主学习能力。
This study, via quantitative analysis, examines the relationship between self⁃efficacy and English autonomous learning ability of non⁃English major college students. Participants were 239 sophomore and junior non⁃English major college students. The results show that: (1) students with greater English academic achievement had stronger self⁃efficacy and better English autonomous learning ability; and (2) self⁃efficacy was significantly positively correlated to the four dimensions of English autonomous learning ability (i.e.“set ⁃ up of learning goals”,“use of learning strategy”,“monitoring and evaluation of learning process”,“motivation”). Meanwhile, self⁃efficacy was found to demonstrate a linear relationship with English autonomous learning ability in general and a stronger linear relationship with“set⁃up of learning goals”,“use of learning strategy”, and“monitoring and evaluation of learning process”in particular. This research suggests that to some extent, self⁃efficacy of college students can affect English autonomous learning ability.
