桂诗春先生的两篇论文"我国英语教育的再思考(理论篇)"和"我国英语教育的再思考(实践篇)"针对我国英语教育的现状和未来发表了许多真知灼见,提供了重要理论启示与决策参照。本文采依这两篇文章的视角,讨论学术英语教学的理论渊源、分析路径与教学方法,阐述有关观点。文章从一个侧面回应了桂诗春先生的立场和观点。
The two articles by Professor Gui Shichun,“Rethinking of China's English Education: Theoretical Perspectives”and“Rethinking of Chinas English Education: Applications”, have articulated valuable points of view regarding the present English education and its future development in China, offering important insights for theorizing and practical decision⁃making. This paper, adopting the perspectives of the aforesaid two articles, sets out to discuss the key issues concerning the theoretical origins, analytical approaches and pedagogical methods relating to English for Academic Purposes, in an effort to reformulate the relevant important views. In so doing, the article airs its responses to the positions of Professor Gui.
