摘要:本文比较了我国内地、香港、台湾六所大学的英语本科阶段课程设置的异同。在此基础上;以南京大学为例;通过问卷、采访等形式;从学生视角出发并结合教师意见;探讨了内地大学英语专业课程设置改革问题。本文认为港台大学英语专业的课程设置对于内地有一定的借鉴意义;内地大学可在保持自己传统优势的同时;采纳港台大学某些先进的课程设置理念;为学生创造更为优良的学习环境。
This study compares curriculum designs for English majors at six universities in the Mainland,Hong Kong and Taiwan.The respective strengths and weaknesses of each are presented through comparison and analyses.Other instruments,such as questionnaire survey and interview,are used to examine students’ and teachers’ perceptions on and suggestions to the curriculum reform.Using Nanjing University as an example,this study shows that universities in the mainland could adopt certain practices from universities in Hong Kong and Taiwan,so as to improve their quality of teaching.It concludes with some specific recommendations for the curriculum reform for English majors at mainland universities.
