摘要:本文以新时期国家和社会发展对高等教育人才培养的要求为背景;简要回顾了我国大学英语教材的发展历程;分析了新一代大学英语教材的编写原则;详细介绍了《大学体验英语视听说教程》前瞻的编写理念及其独特的任务设计。文章指出;大学英语教材要更好地顺应和服务于新形势下我国高等教育的核心目标。
Backgrounded by the new requirements placed on China’s higher education for talents in a new era of social progress,this paper briefly reviews the history of college English coursebook development,and analyzes its leading principles of "student-centeredness" and "ability-orientation." The paper indicates that the newly published coursebook Experiencing English Viewing,Listening and Speaking is a valuable attempt to integrate the above-mentioned forward-looking principles and the task-based language teaching approach into the core objectives of college English teaching,namely,the enhancement of students’ ability to use English freely,to learn autonomously,and to think independently.The paper also elaborates on the structure of the coursebook and its features in task design.
