摘要:本研究基于一项大型问卷调查及35例深度访谈;研究大学英语教师的职业发展现状及其影响因素。研究结果显示;大学英语师资队伍存在着性别、年龄、学历、职称、职业素养方面的不平衡;影响了教师队伍的发展。教师发展主要受到个人和组织两方面因素的影响;两者交互作用导致了教师发展的共性和个性特征。促进教师发展可以采取四项措施:提高教师素养、加强职业规划管理、加强学科建设、建立多元学术评价制度。
This paper reports a questionnaire survey and interview study on College English teachers’ professional development and influencing factors.The results indicate that imbalances in gender,age,education levels,academic status,and professional competence have hindered teachers’ professional development.Some common and individualistic features of teacher development can be attributed to personal and organizational factors.Suggestions are made to enhance teacher development.
