摘要:本研究以502名非英语专业大学生为受试对象;通过问卷调查的方式探讨学习策略在歧义容忍度和英语水平之间的中介效应。研究结果表明:(1)歧义容忍度与英语水平显著相关;前者对后者具有较强的预测作用;(2)歧义容忍度对学习策略具有预测作用;(3)元认知策略、认知策略在歧义容忍度和英语水平之间具有部分中介效应;歧义容忍度通过这两种学习策略间接影响英语水平。
Based on a questionnaire survey of 502 non-English majors,this study probes into the mediating effect of English learning strategies between tolerance of ambiguity and English proficiency.The study results show that:(1) tolerance of ambiguity and English proficiency are significantly correlated,with the former as a strong predictor of the latter;(2) tolerance of ambiguity predicts English learning strategies;(3) metacognitive and cognitive strategies play mediating roles between tolerance of ambiguity and English proficiency,and thus tolerance of ambiguity indirectly influences English proficiency via these two strategies.
