摘要:本文调查了非英语专业大学生的英语写作自我效能感。结果发现:(1)学生的写作自我效能感总体处于中等水平;(2)高、低写作自我效能感水平组在写作成绩上存在显著差异;(3)写作自我效能感及其两个因子与写作成绩呈显著正相关;(4)学生写作重要性和写作能力的自我评价对写作自我效能感有显著影响;(5)性别对英语写作自我效能感无显著影响。文章最后对如何增强学生写作自我效能感提出了一些建议。
This paper aims to investigate English writing self-efficacy of Chinese non-English majors.It carries out a thorough analysis of the questionnaire survey and reveals the following findings:(1) students’ writing self-efficacy is generally at the medium level;(2) in terms of overall writing self-efficacy and its two factors,i.e.writing task and skill self-efficacy,students with high and low self-efficacy manifest significant differences in writing performance; (3) students’ writing self-efficacy and its two factors are positively correlated with their writing performance;(4) students’ self-perceptions of English writing importance and their own writing competence have significant impact on their writing self-efficacy;(5) gender difference has no significant impact on students’ writing self-efficacy.Finally, the paper discusses various ways to improve students’ writing self-efficacy.
