摘要:交际语言教学介绍进我国基础外语教育界已近30年。有关交际语言教学是否适合中国国情的争论及其对它的各种介绍与批判也一直持续至今。本文回顾早期交际语言教学倡导者如何定义"真实性"、"真实世界任务"、"得体性"、"功能"和"语言运用"这些概念以及交际语言教学的不同主张;重点讨论两种不同教学途径的适应对象和环境;并提出一种适合我国基础教育目标与教学环境的交际语言教学路子。
Communicative Language Teaching(CLT) has been a highly controversial issue among the Chinese ELT circle ever since it was introduced into China.The author argues that there are currently two different approaches in the implementation of CLT and neither of them are appropriate for English as a foreign language education in China as a school subject.A third approach is thus proposed,which includes social-cultural and cognition goals.This third approach is believed to be more appropriate for the purpose of Chinese basic education and more realistic for the Chinese context.
