摘要:英语写作教学中充分运用过程写作教学方法可以提高学生的思维能力和自主写作能力。虽然过程教学法在国内外写作教学中运用较广;但不同教师之间在教学手段的运用上存在很大差别。笔者对美国加州大学圣巴巴拉分校一年级写作课教学进行了一学期的观摩;了解了教师的教学过程;对各种教学手段的运用效果和学生评价进行了调查分析;并总结出一些启示;希望对国内英语专业写作教学有一定参考价值。
Thinking ability and writing autonomy,which constitute important parts of students’ comprehensive ability, can be nurtured through process writing in English teaching.However,the specific teaching methods used in the process writing classes vary from teacher to teacher.With the data collected from the freshmen writing class in the University of California,Santa Barbara,this research explores how the use of various process-based teaching means contributes to the development of students’ comprehensive ability.It may hopefully be of some reference value to writing teaching for English majors in China.
