摘要:本文是针对语言教学质化研究主流方法之一人种志所作的研究方法研究。人种志历经发展现已呈现丰富多样的研究手段和数据形式。但本文强调并倡导;尽管人种志的意义有所扩展、手段不断丰富;高质量的–或者真正意义上的人种志研究仍须着重体现该研究传统的最核心原则;包括:文化群体为研究焦点、理论框架为研究指引、微观与宏观整体分析、被研究者与研究者双层释义。对所归属(或所运用)的研究传统(或研究方法)之核心思想和原则的认识、理解和思考是语言教学研究–特别是质化研究正规和成熟的重要基础。
This paper investigates the research principles and instruments of a mainstream qualitative research method(or tradition) in language teaching – ethnography.It is argued that albeit its much developed meanings,ethnography – or true ethnography should be concerned with a set of core research principles including a cultural group as research focus,a theoretical framework as research guide,a holistic description and explanation of what is researched,and an interpretation of the interpretations of research participants.It is suggested that an important basis for quality research is that the researcher should understand and seriously consider the core principles of the research method used.
